We ask a lot of questions.  The last thing anyone wants is a surprise.  By being methodical and thorough we are able to present you with a meaningful, comprehensive work schedule that includes details for all phases of the project.  Naturally, we prefer to do work before an emergency arises.  Operating in this way allows us to better prepare the equipment, order supplies in the most cost–effective manner, and do a thorough job of preparing the site, all while staying on-time and on-budget.  Costs are minimized when we're able to scope the project precisely.

But even with the best planning, changes might happen.  One of our clients originally turned-down a proposal we made.  A welder was called in to repair the tank instead.  When we next heard from the client, we learned that there were spots where the metal on the tank walls was so thin that the welder was burning holes through the tank.  They wanted to know how we would address this (now larger) problem, so we adjusted our approach to meet these new conditions.
